A luxury wedding exhibition was organized in city on Friday where designer kurtis, stoles, suits, sandals, accessories, tunics, jackets, bed sheets and blankets were on display.

LUDHIANA: A luxury wedding exhibition was organized in city on Friday where designer kurtis, stoles, suits, sandals, accessories, tunics, jackets, bed sheets and blankets were on display. Well known designers from all over the country put on display their creations. However, the show was dominated by designers from Mumbai and Delhi.
Huge rush was witnessed on a special stall of designer gotas from Jaipur.

Wide range of gotas was on display with price starting from Rs 10 per piece onwards. The main attraction of this stall was the peacock gotas.
Glam-bitten, idiosyncratic and quality conscious shoppers of this much-hyped exhibition were eagerly waiting for the show as enormous canvas of this event portrayed the riot of colors, opulence of jewelry, accessories and amazing melange.
Inder Chinna, CEO, creator of this mega wedding exhibition said, “Luxury Wedding 2011 is a premium show where we endeavour to bring all the innovative quality designers together at a common platform for the shopaholics, who understand how this exhibition can add to the grandeur of their personality and the occasion.”
Manager Reena Chaudhary said, “This is their second visit to Ludhiana, last time we ran out of stock in just one-and-a-half day of the exhibition. This is our second visit to Ludhiana and its good to see that people of Ludhiana are stylish and experimental.”
The exhibition has bamboo creations also. Eco-friendly yoga mats, bamboo quilts and towels that are non-allergic and antiseptic are also on display.
Gurneet, a customer, said, This exhibition has something for everyone, the designers are all having an exquisite collection. Great style, looks are altogether refreshing experience and are definitely appealing. Around 50 different designers have come from across the country.
Mehak Mahajan, a visitor, said, “The clothes are really unique and I am looking forward to these kinds of more exhibitions.”
“I really like the exhibition and buy accessories,” said Tanya Sharma, another visitor.
